Save the Date: #BrooklynGives on Giving Tuesday, Nov. 28th

Today we are thrilled to announce the 20 finalists for our Spark Prize for Brooklyn nonprofits! Each organization will not only advance in consideration for the prestigious $100,000 award, but will also be a beneficiary of our local giving campaign: #BrooklynGives on Giving Tuesday, November 28th.

Who are the 20 Brooklyn nonprofits? Find out here!

Celebrated on Giving Tuesdaythe Tuesday after Thanksgiving #BrooklynGives is the borough's first 24-hour giving day, an opportunity for residents and small businesses to come together to support nonprofit organizations that make our communities great.

To encourage your participation in #BrooklynGives, we're offering a $100,000 donation match! Last year, more than 900 donors helped to raise nearly $275,000 on #BrooklynGives day. This year, let's set a new record!

We're proud to present #BrooklynGives in partnership with the Office of the Brooklyn Borough President and the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, with the generous support of lead sponsor TD Bank, and National Grid.

Puerto Rico Needs You

This month marks 5 years since Superstorm Sandy, which inflicted devastation across Brooklyn’s waterfront and brought our communities together like never before through volunteerism and giving to help restore and rebuild our borough.

Today, we are asking you to channel that same spirit of generosity in support of 175,000 Brooklynites who also call Puerto Rico home.

Please consider supporting emergency relief and recovery with a gift to the Community Foundation of Puerto Rico, or Brooklyn organizations El Puente, UPROSE and the Center for Popular Democracy.
