One of the biggest rewards I had being a youth fellow, was knowing that I helped in the process of awarding grants to some incredible projects- all led by youth. I sat down with the youth leaders of the "No Eye Candy" project, supported by YWCA Brooklyn, to discuss their project.

"No Eye Candy" is looking for participants ages 16-24 to talk about their experience with catcalling and oversexualization. If interested, you can email info@ywcabrooklyn.org or call (718) 875-1190 ext. 307

I had the pleasure of sitting down with Samora Coles, founder and Executive Director of The Alex House Project, to talk about her experience with creating her nonprofit for young mothers and fathers, as well as what it's like to be a member of our Incubator Project.
